Sharon Lee Dever

Sharon Lee Dever, 77, passed away September 19, 2025. She was born in Akron to the late David and Marion (Carney) Bartlett and enjoyed crossword puzzles and crafts. She was devoted to her family and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denny and step-father, William Carney. She is survived by her son, William; granddaughter, Thea; great grandson, Timothy; her sisters, Bernice Zemelka and Ruth Dakes; and so many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the special care of the staff and management at Sanctuary of Wadsworth over the past year, that actually got to know and love Sharon in such a short amount of time.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Pastor Scott Souders officiating.
