Stanley J. Krise, 71, passed away February 18, 2014. He was born in Somerset County, PA to the late Jearl and Blanch (Godfrey) and was an Akron resident for 40 years.
Stanley was a manager at Akron Steam and Sauna, loved the outdoors and gambling and was a devoted partner, son, brother and friend.
He is survived by his partner of 29 years, Robert Engle; sisters, Joanne Wellock, Mary Ellen Rush, Barbara Shepko, Charlotte (Michael) Saloney and Debbie (Jim) Lucas; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd. Calling hours will be at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St. on Friday, February 21, from 4 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
