Stephen G. Marchok

Stephen G. Marchok, 79, passed away August 10, 2022. He was born in Akron to the late Steve and Eleanor (Collett) Marchok and was a Green High School graduate. He worked security for many years at Summa Akron City Hospital and was also a locksmith for St. Thomas Hospital.

Stephen was a member of Living Water Fellowship Church and enjoyed photography, especially when he was young. He also loved fishing, going to the lake to feed the ducks and geese, and watching birds. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Stewart. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna; daughter, Lisa Gilmore; grandchildren, Jaxson and Emma Gilmore; and brother-in-law, David Clegg.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Connie Manning officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. with burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
