Sterling E. Wilson

Sterling E. Wilson, 82, passed away September 21, 2021. He was born in Uniontown, PA to the late Harold and Marie (Moore) Wilson, was a South High School graduate in Akron and was a veteran of the US Army.

Sterling worked for RC Cola and Sumner Butter, and later owned Wilson’s restaurants in Brimfield, Cuyahoga Falls and Ravenna. He was a long-time member of the VFW and American Legion in Ravenna and the Mogadore Moose.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Janice and Honey Lou. He is survived by his children, Ben, Angela and Robert (Tina); grandchildren, Melody, Brian, Kyla, Tiffany, Robert Jr., Nathan and Kristin; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Lela; and brother, Doug.
