Susan Jane Freed, 63, passed away November 16, 2014. She was born in Barberton, OH to the late Thomas and Cleo (Badunas) Anders, was a 1969 Barberton High School graduate and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Susan was the manager of the downtown Akron First National News card shop for many years and also worked at the Olive Tree restaurant.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gene; children, Tim (Amy), Matt (Nicki), Angie Porter and Katie (Curtis) Grimes; 6 grandchildren; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; and many loving relatives and friends.
A remembrance gathering for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Northeast Region 525 North Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
