Theresa M. Myers, 62, went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Akron to the late Nicola and Ida (Russo) Piscioneri and worked at Good Will Industries.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved Stanley, and Odis. She leaves to cherish her memory, precious sisters, Elizabeth Kamm and Rosemary Miller (Jamie Hunter); daughter, Theresa (Rob) Burnside; grandsons, Anthony Michael Myers and Alex Burnside; niece, Lisa (Jeff) Miller; nephew, Jeffrey (Jen) Miller; great-nephews, Kramer (Ashley), Nicolas and Robbie; great-nieces, Haley and Kendall; and great-great niece, Layla Marie. Also, my special and dear friend to my heart :-)
Theresa would like to thank her support group at Good Will Industries, who were always by her side, and all her participants who were close to her heart. The family wishes to thank Linda Nugent and Ed (massage therapist) and the entire staff of Hospice of Summa.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St. A Christian Mass memorial service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 12 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery. Procession will form at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
Per Theresa’s wishes, casual dress is requested, preferably purple, which was her favorite color.
