Violet M. Person, 85, passed away November 27, 2013. She was born in Akron to the late William and Emma (Sommers) McIntyre and was an avid singer. She also loved living on an Indian reservation and Indian heritage.
Preceded in death by her son, Jesse James, she is survived by her daughters, Helen and Mary; several grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Willy, Lester, Joe, Johnny, Mike, Harriet, Bertha and Helen; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Jason Cramer officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 12 – 1 p.m.
