Virginia M. (Cox) Frank

Virginia M. Frank, 92, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2018. She was born in Wadsworth to the late Willard and Cora (Greenawalt) Cox and was a lifelong area resident. She retired from Summa Akron City Hospital with 32 years of service, was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, and was an avid bowler and traveler.

Preceded in death by her husband, Donald, Virginia is survived by her niece, Jan (Pat) Edwards; nephew, Tom (Ruth) Briston; great-nephews, Chris (Beth) and Kevin; great-niece, Jennifer; and great-great nieces, Lila and Iris.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at The Gables of Green for their wonderful care of Virginia.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Calling hours will be for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m.
