Virginia L. Greer, 83, passed away October 6, 2015. She was born in Akron to the late Wes and Virginia (Riffle) Leedom and was an East High School graduate. She retired from Home Centers Appliances and loved collecting angels.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude; son, Dennis; and grandson, Jeffrey Smith. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Chester) McFall, Maryellen (Jeff) Galati, Mark and Dave (Regina); grandchildren, Danny, Kaitlyn, Megan, Chad and Joshua; several great-grandchildren, sister, Carol (Jim); and brother, Bruce (Faye).
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd.
