Walter R. Stewart, 97, passed away February 4, 2017. He was born in Central City, KY, was a proud Army veteran of World War II, and retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company with over 30 years of service. Walter was devoted to his family, especially to his grandchildren and great-grandhcildren, and he will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; grandson, Aaron Flossie; and sisters, Eloise Ross and Juanita Matthews. He is survived by his daughters, Becky (Bruce) Flossie and Bonnie (Dave) Wolcott; grandchildren, (Ben) Jaclyn Flossie, Adam (Rachel) Flossie, Kirk (Nikki) Genet and Angie (Juan) Yerena; and great-grandchildren, Stella, Juan, Lyannah, Dakota, Braedon, Jacob, Mia and Derek.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
