Wayne A. Bee, 82, passed away August 26, 2017. He was born in Akron to the late Ordell and Anna (Coward) and was a proud Marine veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Mr. Bee retired from Goodyear with 30 years of service, was a member of the Akron Police Department reserves for 25 years and was a North High School graduate.
Preceded in death by his brother, Edward, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn; daughter, Nancy (Douglas) Peteya; grandchildren, Veronica and Alex (Kayla); and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Millie.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday, September 1 at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
