In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, James and Ernest and sisters, Edith and Mildred. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd., Akron, OH 44312.
