Doris May (Green) Colbert

Doris May (Green) Colbert, 87, passed away August 10, 2021. She was born in Cuyahoga Falls to the late Darrell and Dorothy (Whitman) Green and retired from General Tire with 14 years of service. She also worked at several nursing homes in the area.

Doris loved painting, crafts and crocheting. She was loving and caring, always made sure you had enough to eat and could always make you laugh. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell W. Green; sister, Patricia Andrews; and daughter-in-law, Vivian Colbert. She is survived by her children, Theresa Knight, Perry (Jodi) Colbert and Jerry Colbert; 5 grandchildren; cousins, Edna Kather and Reid Whitman; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. David Nazarewicz officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m. with burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
