Elizabeth Watt Obituary

Elizabeth P. Watt passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior and loved ones waiting in heaven on Monday, October 19, 2020. She was born February 16, 1926, in Mississippi. Preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Cora Farmer; her siblings, Edwin, Shula and Winnie; and husbands, Raymond David Pavlick and Albert James Watt; she leaves a daughter, Patricia “Pat” (Thomas) Miller, two grandsons, Thomas C. Miller and Matthew D. (Jennifer) Miller, and numbers of nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth attended business school, but left one credit shy of graduation to help her sister Winnie at her home in Elyria, Ohio. She was hired as the secretary of the Elyria YMCA director and it was there she met a resident, Ray Pavlick, who was just beginning his advertising career. His creative romancing won her heart, they married, and then built a home in Twin Lakes when he began working at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. After Ray died in 1974, she married Al Watt, president of Watt Printing. They lived in the Cleveland suburbs, eventually moving into the Laurel Lake complex in Hudson, where Al passed away in 2004.

Her family extends thanks and condolences to the many wonderful and caring workers and friends at Laurel Lake, especially in the Crown Center section.
