Robin E. Phillips

Robin Elizabeth Phillips, 65, came into the world August 21, 1957 and went home to be reunited with the Lord and her loved ones March 25, 2023.

She was born in Akron to the late William and Cleova (Johns) Ford and was an Ellet High School graduate. She attended the University of Akron for banking classes and the Southern Ohio College for Real Estate, becoming a licensed realtor. Robin was employed by KeyBank for over 40 years, retiring as a branch manager.

“I have been blessed all my life, but my absolute greatest gifts from God have been my two children, my husband, and my grandchildren. I love you, deeply. Thank You Lord for all my family and the togetherness we had. It is always to be cherished.”

She is survived by her husband Gary; children, Douglas (Stephanie) Phillips and Cynthia (David) Patterson; sister, Meredith Ford; brother, Rodney (Sheila) Ford; grandchildren, William, Kiersten and Gavin; and several nieces, nephews and relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rexal and Bertha Ford and Edward and May Johns; sister, Cynthia Ford; and mother-and-father in-law, William and Dorothy Phillips.  

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, March 30 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Happy Peterson officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
