Russell I. Rawleigh, 72, passed away June 4, 2022. He was born in Alliance, OH, was a proud Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and worked in sales for the duration of his career.
Russ was a skilled woodworker and loved tinkering with and trying to fix things. But more than anything, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, who will miss him dearly.
Preceded in death by his mother, Vivian (nee Conner) and step-father, John Kopan, he is survived by his children, Trevor (Laura) Rawleigh, Shawna (Jacob) Jenkins and Chelsea (Chip) Lennep; grandchildren, Ian and Tessa Rawleigh, Kaelynn and Jaxson Jenkins, and Gabbie and Mia Lennep; siblings, Leo (Amy), Judy (Joe), Manley (Eileen) and Sue (David); and other loving relatives and friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 9:15 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://fisherhouse.org/ to help members of the military and their families.
