Vickie, having just lost my husband Al just three weeks ago, I can fully put myself in your shoes. Having grown up on Grandview with Dave, Alan, Larry and Donovan and myself all in the class of 58 was something I will never forget. Sled riding on Mill Street hill, ice skating on the lake in Memorial Park, foot ball games at the stadium, watching the ball games at the field behind, and of course swimming at the old pool are all things we could do within 2 blocks of our homes. I remember many good times with Dave and the rest of the "Grandview Gang". May he and Al have as many good times together in Heaven as we had here on Earth. I know how important it is to talk, so call me any time. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
