Dear Family of Margaret Casebier, I was sorry to hear about the passing of Margaret. I was a friend of her husband Dewey. We worked together at Goodyear tire. Dewey was a great person to work with. He was fair and honest with everyone that he dealt with. I have been retired for about 25 years.. I was in the Army and in the second armored division. I joined the second armored site that is attached to Facebook. People were posting pictures on this website of their family members that were over in Germany during World War II. One day I noted a tank crew next to their tank. I said that looks like my friend Dewey. I sent a reply the person that posted the picture. He said that there were other pictures out there of the same person which turned out to be Dewey. I called Margaret his wife who was living in New Jersey at the time. Explained to her what I had seen on the Internet. She said that Dewey was in Germany during the second world war.. And that the pictures were most likely him. I kept watching and there were probably a dozen or more pictures showing Dewey with his tank.. The time that we worked together we never talked about the Army.. Dewey was in during World War II. He saw much combat with the second armored during that war. I was also in the second armored but it was during the Korean War.. We were occupation forces based in Germany at that time which was 1953. I was always sorry that Dewey and I did not discuss our experiences in the Army.. I would like to of shaked his hand and thanked him for his service.. Because the division saw a lot of combat during that war.
I believe someday that I will have a chance to thank them up above. I am sure that Dewey and Margaret and their son are having a ball up there now!
God bless Margaret, Dewey, those that preceded them, and also his loving family!

I do not have adequate words to express my sorrow on Aunt Margaret's passing. She will be missed.
