Martha R. Miklovic

Martha R. Miklovic, 86, passed away December 14, 2020. She was born in Jefferson County, OH to the late Ralph and Evelyn (Monney) Williams and was a graduate of Steubenville High School, where she was Salutatorian of her class.

Martha moved to Akron after high school and graduated from Akron General Nursing School, often getting together with classmates through the years. She worked as an RN at Akron General Hospital and later retired from Summit County Children’s Services. Martha was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church since 1959 and she loved playing cards, participating in a card group for many years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and granddaughter, Sydney, she is survived by her son, David (Theresa) Miklovic; granddaughters, Samantha and Kylie; and many relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Deborah Wissner officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 158 North Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278.
