Michele Lee Carter

Michele (Lee) Carter, 52, lost a brief battle with Covid on December 20, 2021. She was born in Akron and was a 1988 Central Hower graduate. Michele was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Lee; grandmothers, Catherine Caldwell and Nora Lee; grandfathers, Thomas Caldwell and Henry Lee; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Lee; children, John (Maggie), Jenna, Janelle and Jacob Carter; and grandchildren, Jaylen and Mila Carter. She will be missed by family and friends, especially Les Carter, Michelle Leidel Wilde, and her dog, Austin. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 12 noon at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Ron Shultz officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. – 12 noon, with burial at Hillside Memorial Park. Masks are required to attend. The family suggests donations in Michele’s name be made to One of a Kind Pets, 1929 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313.
