I have so many wonderful memories of Karen for the past forty years.We coached against each other taught together at Garfield and golfed together. She was so proud of her girls and grandchildren as we had many conversations at the lunch table at GHS. Rest in peace Karen you deserve a good rest.

Tracey,
We are so shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Karen. What an incredible loss to so many, especially students who will carry on the light she shared with them in so many ways. Praying that God will gather up all the love she has garnered through her life to create a quilt of comfort to warm you, and remind you that love doesn't die with our death, it is simply transformed. One day we'll all understand. For now, know that friends and family care, and with them, we support you, and hold you in our prayers and hearts. God bless you.
